A Visit to the Musée Picasso - Paris, France

Picasso has long been one of my favorite artists. As one of the most famous artists who ever lived I am sure I am not the only one who shares this sentiment. I was thrilled to learn that there was a museum full of his works not far from the flat we called home during our stay in Paris.

As someone who enjoys the occasional artistic endeavor I was most interested in seeing — up close and in detail — the application methods used in the paintings. Typically, one views historical artwork either through a book or online — in a way that shows the entire work. Rarely does one get to see intimately each detailed brush stroke of a work of art. I hoped to study these works up close in order to learn more about the methods and processes used by Pablo Picasso so that I might expand my own skill set of artistic capabilities.
